Porn Sites — EXPOSED!

I don’t know if you have this happen on your blog, too, but I often get SPAM crammed into my comments that Askimet filters out — thank God. While going through the list, I don’t always know it’s a porn site from the link or email address, so I visit it to ensure it’s not a legitimate comment.

Once I get there, Star or Kitty often greet me in nothing but … a birthday suit. Hey, this is a family-friendly blog. I wouldn’t want anyone clicking on a link to another site from mine and running into Naughty Nancy.

The cool thing about XXX sites that obtain domains in the future is that the industry will issue a domain with an extension that identifies them as that — .XXX. Is that not cool?!

So those who want to visit the site can, and others who do not can avoid it. The drawback? Existing porn sites with dot com extensions will not change; although, they may buy duplicate domains with .XXX extensions.
