The Northwest Arkansas Writer’s Workshop comes highly recommended from the writing group to which I belong in Kansas City. It’s free, for one thing, and it hosts a broad variety of reputable authors as speakers.

8:30 registration required
$7.00 for lunch to be paid then or you may bring your own.
Scheduled speakers are:
Linda Apple – Writing for Chicken Soup
Linda has been published with Chicken Soup 12 times and is a well-known
inspirational speaker and author.
Patty Stith – Making Your Movie Trailer
Patty recently made a trailer for her book and will share what she learned.
Jeanie Horn – Writing For Paying Markets
Jeanie is multi-published in magazines and newspapers and is a professional editor.
Velda Brotherton – A Sense of Place
Velda is an award winning writer, published in both fiction and nonfiction, and
teaches workshops on the craft of writing.
Dusty Richards – Writing 101
Dusty is an award winning writer with over 100 published books and tons of
workshops to his credit.
